IE offers full Measurement and Verification (M&V) services for energy saving measures in accordance with the internationally respected IPMVP procedure.
“How much is this energy saving measure really saving me?” A question often in the mind of those who have just spent their hard-earned capital on the latest energy saving technology. The question sounds an easy one to answer but soon gets complex when one considered changing energy tariffs, weather, usage and other factors. Is it the energy saving measure or the warmer weather / less intense usage / that the old boiler failed and had to be replaced just after the energy saving was introduced, that is causing the saving?
Matt Fulford at IE is a fully qualified as a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) and as such can provide fully adherent M&V plans and assessments to a full range of energy saving projects. This use the internationally recognised International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP). This provides a clear procedure and set of principles to measure an energy saving (which is measuring consumption which has not happened).
